Orthodontic specialty deals with problems of malocclusion (ill fitting teeth), problems with the temporal_ mandibular joint (TMJ), and cosmetic tooth correction.

Phase one treatment (age 6 through 12) is designed to take advantage of the rapid growth of the child. 

With the introduction of the Invisalign, which relies upon a series of trays to move the teeth and because no wires or brackets are used, more adults accept this treatment compared with wired process.
